Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani said the reality in Gaza surpasses a simplistic labeling such as “Hamas-Israel war”, describing it as a comprehensive military assault by an occupying regime with American support.

The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry urged that the Zionist regime should be identified as a “terrorist entity” and its leaders be prosecuted for war crimes considering a whole range of atrocities they have committed against Gaza in a fortnight’s time.
