Introducing "Alireza Bigdali" as Iran
By order of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, "Alireza Bigdali" replaced "Hassan Kazemi Qomi" as the head of the country's mission in Kabul. According to another change, the Special Representative of the President of Iran in Afghanistan was eliminated and, as before, the Special Representative will operate under the supervision of the Foreign Minister of the country.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: Mehr News Agency published a new news on this matter and wrote: Based on an order from Araqchi, Alireza Bigdali, former Deputy Consular Officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was introduced as the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran's mission in Kabul.
According to this news, the Special Representative of the President in Afghanistan was also eliminated and, as before, the Special Representative for Afghan Affairs will operate directly under the supervision of the Foreign Minister.
According to this news, it is not clear whether Mr. Kazemi Qomi's mission as Iran's Special Representative for Afghan Affairs has also ended, or whether he will continue to work in the post of Special Representative for this country?!
Following the end of the mission of Bahadur Aminian, the former ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Afghanistan, Mr. Kazemi Qomi has been working as the head of the Iranian mission in Kabul and, at the same time, the special representative of the country's presidency for Afghan affairs for nearly two years.
