Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): A Hebrew-language media outlet published details of the agreement being formed between Tel Aviv and Hezbollah and reported that this agreement could be implemented within a few days.
According to Tasnim, the Yisrael Hayom newspaper announced in a report published on Monday evening that high-ranking officials emphasize that if an agreement is reached, it could be implemented within 2 or 3 days.
The report continues by citing informed sources, emphasizing that in the first phase of this agreement, which will last about 60 days, the Israeli army is set to withdraw from Lebanon. This withdrawal will take place simultaneously with the deployment of Lebanese army forces in these areas.
The issue of the border demarcation issue in Point 13, which Lebanon wants, will be discussed after the agreement is signed.
The United States will also be responsible for implementing the agreement, but France will also participate in this work and will be present in the mechanism for monitoring the implementation of the agreement.
Israel's freedom of action in the event of a violation of the agreement, which would occur if Hezbollah approached the borders and developed its capabilities, will be determined in a side document between Israel and the United States (without Lebanon making any commitments), and this document will also be approved by the Israeli cabinet.
Assessments by senior security officials indicate that after the agreement with Lebanon is signed and the ceasefire on the northern borders is consolidated, there will also be a possibility of progress on the issue of an agreement for the exchange of prisoners in Gaza.
In this regard, the ICE news agency also reported that the Israeli security and political cabinet is scheduled to meet tomorrow, Tuesday, to review and vote on the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon. Therefore, it can be said that the possibility of declaring a ceasefire with Lebanon within a few hours exists and is simply awaiting the official approval of the Israeli cabinet and Netanyahu himself.
The media outlet reported that Israel gave the green light to the American mediator on Monday morning in this regard.
According to the media outlet, messages have been sent from the United States to high-ranking Lebanese officials, emphasizing that the ceasefire will be declared within the next few hours, but the method of the ceasefire and the extent of the withdrawal from Lebanon remain to be determined.
