The CEO of Aras Free Zone Organization in East Azarbaijan Province of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a conversation with AVA reporter, invited Afghan investors to invest in this region, considering the accessibility of this region to Eurasian countries as well as Turkey.

According to the media reports of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Afghanistan has been ranked third in terms of foreign investment in Iran after Russia and the United Arab Emirates, and has been among the top six investment countries in the country for the past two years.

On the border of Afghanistan and Uzbekistan the first part of the Termez International Trade Center was opened.
