Thousands of pro-Palestine activists gathered in Berlin on Sunday for a solidarity rally in support of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip ahead of the New Year's Eve.

The German government plans to limit exports of chemicals used to make semiconductors to China as part of a US-led policy to limit Beijing's access to advanced technologies.

Emergency services said that, a huge aquarium in Berlin burst on Friday, spilling 1 million liters of water, around 1,500 exotic fish and debris onto a major road.
