Kabul, (AVA)- According to the ministry of interior affairs, 7 insurgents were killed and 37 others detained in joint operations by Afghan national police and coalition forces.
6 joint operations were carried out in Kabul, Baghlan, Konduz, Kandahar, Urozgan and Paktika where 7 insurgents were killed and 10 others detained.
The national police carried out 5 cleaning up operations in Kandahar, Khost and Balkh and detained 27 insurgents including some Taliban commanders.
The national police officials defused 12 mines in Nahr-e-Seraj city, Helmand province during their patrolling in this province.
