Kabul, (AVA)- 4 cleaning up operations were carried out by national police forces, national army, national security forces and coalition troops in Kabul, Balkh, Paktika and Paktia provinces over the past 24 hours.
During the operations, 9 insurgents killed, 1 wounded and 11 others were detained.
3 AK 47 rifles, some ammunitions, 2 motorcycles were seized during the operations.
2 Taliban insurgents killed and 1 wounded in a mine blast in Paktia province while they were planting the mines in a road of Zarmat city.
The Paktia national police officials said the Paktia police forces detained a mine planter when the police were patrolling.
In Nangahar and Kanahar, 2 anti vehicles mines defused by national police forces yesterday.
