The situation of the country is the focus of the meeting of the special representative of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan with the EU official
The Special Representative of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Affairs and the Special Representative of the European Union for Central Asian Affairs exchanged views on the current situation and the future perspective of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Europe regarding the situation in Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Ismatullah Irgshev, Special Representative of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Affairs, met with Terhi Hakala, Special Representative of the European Union for Central Asian Affairs.

In the meeting of the special representative of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan affairs with Terhi Hakala; Special Representative of the European Union for Central Asian affairs, the parties exchanged views on the current situation and the future perspective of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Europe in relation to the situation in Afghanistan.

Terhi Hakala appreciated Uzbekistan's initiatives with the aim of creating a single regional position on Afghanistan and establishing long-term peace and stability in this country.

At the end of this meeting, the parties expressed their mutual readiness for more bilateral consultations on issues related to the situation in Afghanistan.

It should be noted that the international community is paying special attention to prevent the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan and also the potential use of the international transportation and logistics center in Tamerez to send humanitarian aid.
