Two martyrs and 34 wounded in the shooting incident on the Iran-Pakistan border have been transferred to Afghanistan

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat, deputy spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, said in a statement on Thursday that a delegation had recently been sent to investigate reports of deaths and A number of our compatriots were wounded on the Iran-Pakistan border.

He continued: The delegation was headed by Mullah Mohammad Ibrahim Sadr, Deputy Security Minister of the Ministry of Interior, who was accompanied by representatives of the Ministries of National Defense, Foreign Affairs, Borders, Ethnic and Tribal Affairs and the General Directorate of Intelligence.

 

The delegation began its work on May 26.

According to the deputy spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, so far, based on the evidence obtained in the Kalgan Valley in Iranian territory, a number of our compatriots were shot and exploded. In this tragic incident, two people were martyred and 34 wounded. Others are still in Iran and Pakistan, where the delegation is working to receive and transfer them.

Mr. Fitrat stressed that the investigation into the incident has not been completed yet and the work of the committee is ongoing and details of the investigation will be released later.

 

Earlier, some local sources in Nimroz province had announced that no such incident had occurred due to the lack of deaths and injuries in the alleged incident on May 22, and the lack of transfer of any bodies and injured to the province.

Initial reports from unknown networks, as well as the opposition, said the number of dead and wounded in the alleged incident was more than 260, and irrelevant images and videos of Pakistani miners being killed or Pakistani police attacking the movement were posted. The Pashtun Protection Agency released images of the new incident to arouse public sentiment.

The commander of Iran's border guards in Sistan and Baluchestan province, as well as the Iranian president's special representative for Afghanistan, have denied such an incident attributed to the shooting of Afghan citizens by Iranian border guards.
