St. Petersburg International Assembly; A step towards normalizing relations with the Islamic Emirate
Russian news agencies report that the head of the embassy of the Islamic Emirate in Moscow will represent Afghanistan at the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg. The Russian Foreign Ministry, meanwhile, described the move as a step towards normalizing relations with the Islamic Emirate.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to Russian news agencies, Jamal Abdul Nasser Gharwal, the head of the Embassy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Moscow, has been invited to a meeting of the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg and he will attend the meeting.
 
The meeting of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum entitled "New Opportunities in the New World" will be held June 8th in Moscow.
 
The Russians will focus on African and Asia-Pacific countries.
 
Russia, however, has not recognized the Islamic Emirate; But he has given the responsibility of the Afghan embassy to the representative of this group.
