Hezbollah Iraq: Iraqi government should send military forces to Syria

Al-Husseini said in a statement: “No decision has yet been made to send resistance fighters to Syria to help fight terrorist groups.”

Al-Mayadeen Network quoted him as saying: “Our opinion is that the Iraqi government should take the lead in sending military forces through an agreement with the Syrian government.”

The spokesman for Kataib Hezbollah also added: “The issue of Palestine will remain the first issue of the Iraqi resistance, with an emphasis on continuous support and defense of the Palestinian people.”
