Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Axios news agency added: The US government has secretly informed the Israelis that it is concerned about the possible collapse of the fragile ceasefire agreement in Lebanon.
Axios reported, citing American officials, that Amos Hochstein, the US special envoy to the region, also told Israel that Tel Aviv should give the ceasefire monitoring mechanism in Lebanon a chance.
These officials also said that Hochstein expressed concern about Israel's attacks on Lebanon.
The news agency, citing informed sources, said that Israel and Lebanon have informed the White House of their commitment to the ceasefire despite the ceasefire violation on the Israeli-Lebanon border.
On the other hand, the Hebrew-language Walla news outlet, citing informed sources, announced that the Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs informed US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan that Israel wants to maintain the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon.
The American media report comes after the Zionist regime, in continuing to violate the ceasefire, targeted more than 30 locations in southern Lebanon on Monday night.
