Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Maulavi Amanullah Hassan, head of agriculture, irrigation and livestock of Badakhshan province, says; Directorate of Livestock and Animal Health of this Directorate in cooperation with Aga Khan Institutes, Norwegian Committee, Mission East and Holland Committee has distributed 1305 bee boxes and beekeeping equipment to 365 farmers and farmers.
He added that the donated beekeeping equipment includes honey extractor, smoke pump, empty box, wax, medicine dispenser, special clothes and other items. According to him, the aim of this distribution is to grow the beekeeping industry and improve the economic status of families.
On the other hand, a number of experts in the agricultural affairs of this province say: Badakhshan is one of the good provinces of the country for beekeeping and honey production due to its suitable climate, mountainous nature, vast pastures, diverse and medicinal flowers and plants.
It should be mentioned that the honey of Badakhshan province has a good position and is very popular in domestic and foreign markets due to its organic nature and high medicinal properties.
