The local officials of Balkh in the beginning of the teaching of "reformation and devotional courses" in Balkh University say that reformation and devotional courses for university professors and students help to make important Islamic issues such as piety the focus of a Muslim person's activity, especially professors and students.

Newly graduated students in Balkh say that their only concern is the lack of job opportunities and they ask the government to provide them with work so that they don't have to leave the country but the government says that students should not worry about work.
