Iran and the Islamic Emirate agreed to appoint the head of the Afghan consulate in Mashhad from among the diplomats of this agency
A source has reported that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Emirate agreed to change the Consul General of Afghanistan in Mashhad and choose the head of the consulate from among the diplomats of this agency.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: In this case, a reliable source told "Iraf" that the Islamic Emirate finally accepted the request of the Islamic Republic of Iran to carry out the process of introducing, agreeing and accepting diplomats based on the mechanism of the Vienna Convention, and as a result, " "Supervisor" introduced for the Afghan consulate in Mashhad has been accepted by Iran, who is one of the diplomats of this agency.

In this way, according to this source, the mission of Abdul Jaber Ansar; The consul general of Afghanistan in holy Mashhad has ended and the Islamic Emirate has introduced Mr. Ansar's successor as the "supervisor" of this consulate based on the legal mechanism defined in the Vienna Convention.

A reliable source told Iraf that the head of the Afghan consulate in Mashhad has been accepted by Iran and will soon be officially introduced and replaced by Abdul Jabar Ansar.

This is despite the fact that previously, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran had rejected Maulvi Nasir Ahmad Haqqani, the deputy of the embassy of the Islamic Emirate in Tehran, to head the consulate in Mashhad, and the reason for this was that he did not go through the legal process of introducing him based on the Vienna Convention.

At the time, Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani said any changes in the Afghan consular staff in Mashhad must be in accordance with the 1963 Vienna Convention on Consular Relations.

But after that, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate accepted the selection of the head of the Mashhad consulate from among the members of this delegation, so that the process of introducing the new consul general of Mashhad would be carried out according to the Vienna Convention.

According to this source, the acceptance of the caretaker introduced by the Islamic Emirate at the Afghan consulate in Mashhad was done only to facilitate the provision of consular services to millions of immigrants in Iran and does not mean the official recognition of the Islamic Emirate government by Tehran, and Iran's position on the need to form An inclusive government based on participation and internal legitimacy has not changed in Afghanistan.
