Deportation of Afghan artists from Pakistan was prohibited
According to Pakistani media, the Peshawar High Court has ordered the country's police not to deport Afghan artists from Pakistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Pakistani media have recently reported that the Peshawar High Court has ordered the country's police not to deport Afghan artists.

Pakistani media quoted the Peshawar High Court as saying that these artists had entered Pakistan after August 15, 2021.

On the other hand, this verdict was issued when at least 147 Afghan artists asked the Supreme Court of Pakistan to stop their harassment in this country in October last year.

Also, earlier, a group of Afghan artists living in Pakistan had protested against the "Khyber Pakhtunkhwa" police and their arrest and forced deportation by holding a demonstration in Peshawar.

According to the report of "Express Tribune", these artists said that the Pakistani police arrested them and forcibly deported them to Afghanistan using the provisions of the Law on the Deportation of Foreign Nationals.
