Sources in the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas have told the media that the US government has sent a message to this movement through mediators and announced its readiness to amend clauses of the "Biden proposed agreement" for a ceasefire in Gaza.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: A source in the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) reported receiving a new message from the United States through mediators regarding the completion of negotiations with the aim of reaching a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.

This source also added that the new US message includes minor amendments in 2 of the proposed clauses announced by US President Joe Biden regarding the ceasefire in Gaza.

The mentioned source emphasized that a new action will be taken under the leadership of the mediators to return the negotiations to the starting point and after that the negotiations will be taken on the remaining issues.

Earlier, American National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan announced that Qatar and Egypt plan to hold talks with the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) soon in line with President Joe Biden's plan for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Two Egyptian security sources recently said that Hamas wants written guarantees from the US for a permanent ceasefire and the withdrawal of Zionist forces from the Gaza Strip in order to sign the ceasefire plan supported by Washington. According to these sources, if there are written guarantees, Hamas will accept this agreement and Egypt is consulting with America about this matter.

Also, recently, the Hamas movement made reforms in the plan proposed by Biden and presented its response to this plan to the Qatari and Egyptian mediators, but the Zionist regime is against these reforms and considers it to mean Hamas's opposition to the Biden plan. In addition, the Zionist regime has not explicitly announced its agreement with Biden's plan.

According to the sources, the Hamas movement has proposed a counter-response to the cease-fire proposal prepared by the Zionists, which was presented by Biden. White House officials say that this administration is still evaluating this proposal and there are significant differences between it and the three-stage proposal presented by the Zionist regime.

At the end of May, the President of the United States proposed a three-stage cease-fire agreement in Gaza, which includes the gradual release of Zionist and Palestinian prisoners, the withdrawal of the Zionist regime from the Gaza Strip in the first and second stages, and the reconstruction of Gaza and the delivery of the bodies of the dead prisoners in the third stage.

After the announcement of Biden's plan, the Hamas movement said that it will examine it with a positive approach.
