A major exhibition showcasing Afghan domestic products, titled “It’s Great, It’s Afghan,” has been inaugurated in Herat.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): During the opening ceremony, Mohammad Zubair Deenparwar, the Director General of International Trade at Afghanistan’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce, highlighted the ministry’s efforts. He noted that numerous exhibitions of domestic products, including six held abroad, have been organized to promote Afghan goods.
He further stated that the Ministry of Industry and Commerce has increased customs tariffs on some products similar to those from other countries to support domestic production.
The exhibition features dozens of domestic products on display, demonstrating the variety and quality of Afghan-made products.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Afghanistan currently exports more than 270 types of domestic products to global markets. Additionally, the ministry reports that Afghanistan has achieved self-sufficiency in 135 types of products and is semi-selfsufficient in 78 others.
This exhibition is part of the broader initiative to bolster the domestic economy and promote Afghan products on the international stage.
