61 people died due to heat in India
The media have reported that with the continuation of the severe heat wave in parts of eastern India, the number of deaths due to heatstroke in this country has increased to 61 people.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The extreme heat has so far affected the states of Rajasthan, Punjab, Bihar and... in this country.

Also, hospitals have accepted dozens of people who have health problems after the heat wave.

According to "The Hindu", the Indian Meteorological Organization advised people to avoid exposure to heat as much as possible, stay in cool places and drink enough water.

At the same time, Pakistan is dealing with a severe heat wave these days and the temperature has reached more than 50 degrees Celsius in some parts of the country in recent days.

Scientists have long warned that climate change caused by greenhouse gas emissions, which are mainly caused by the burning of fossil fuels, will make the sequence of heat waves more intense and deadly. These scientists have been saying for years that governments should take serious measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

At the same time, extremely high temperatures make it impossible to work or exercise safely outdoors, aggravate heart and lung diseases, and worsen air pollution. Heat is especially dangerous for people who work outdoors and for babies and the elderly. However, when heat is combined with humidity, it becomes far more lethal.
