Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: According to ISNA, Ali Akbar Mehrabian said today (Sunday, August 20) that additional information about the visit of this country's experts to Dehrawood should be given by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of that country.
The Minister of Energy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has also said about that country's water rights from the Helmand River that "recently, our colleagues have visited the water measuring station of Dehrawood, Helmand/Helmand. This visit showed that the drought in Afghanistan is also serious.
He emphasized: "However, according to the amount of rain that fell in Afghanistan, in the Hirmand watershed area, Iran has a share, and this share is our legal right that we demand."
On the 21st of the current solar month, Hasan Kazemi Qomi, the special representative and head of the Iranian embassy in Kabul, announced the visit of experts from that country to the water monitoring center in Dehrawood district of Uruzgan province, Afghanistan.
After that, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate confirmed the visit of the Iranian delegation to the water measuring station in Dehrawood and said that this delegation has assessed this year as having less water than the normal water year due to the drought caused by climate change.
Recently, Maulavi Abdul Kabir, Political Deputy of the Ministry of the Islamic Emirate, said that "the water issue with Iran has been resolved with great happiness and understanding instead of war."
