Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Japan has announced that it will provide more than twenty one million dollars for the implementation of vaccination programs for Afghan women and children, as well as providing water and sewage in schools.
The Embassy of Japan in Afghanistan announced the grant of this financial aid in a tweet on Monday (March 27) and thanked the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) for its strong partnership with Japan.
Also, UNICEF said in a tweet that out of the additional 21 million dollars of Japan's aid, 18 million dollars are for essential vaccinations for children and mothers and the remaining 3.6 million dollars for water and sewage facilities for 10,000 students in 20 public schools in Afghanistan.
