Turkey's "influence" in Afghanistan; From vulgar series to religious schools

The Ministry of Education has announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with a Turkish charity organization for the construction of five religious schools in five provinces of the country.
 
The Ministry of Education said: "Idif" charity organization of Turkey is going to build five religious schools in five provinces of Afghanistan.
 
The memorandum of understanding for the construction of these schools between Mawlavi Habibullah Agha; Acting Minister of Education of the Taliban and Sheikh Mohammad Turan; It is signed by the official of "IDIF" institution.
 
During the signing of this memorandum, the acting head of the ministry called the construction of five schools by the "IDIF" charity foundation a "big action" and expressed his gratitude to the said institution.
 
The cost of these schools is estimated at 25 thousand US dollars, which is financed by the IDF Foundation.
 
It is obvious that the construction of religious schools in an Islamic country by any country in itself is worthy and admirable and welcome, and there is no opposition to it. For this reason, the Ministry of Education's acceptance of this action of Turkey is understandable.
 
However, in order to accurately understand Turkey's intentions behind this decision, we must take a look at the past policies and approaches of yesterday, today and the future of the current leaders of Turkey towards the Islamic world and Afghanistan in particular.
 
The important point is that before the fall of the country to the "Islamic Emirate" in the framework of NATO, Turkey had sent military forces to Afghanistan in order to participate in the organization's "fight" against terrorism.
 
In this way, the Ankara government at that time was considered part of the axis of aggression and occupation and fought alongside NATO against the Taliban.
 
In terms of culture and propaganda, Turkey's policy towards Afghanistan at that time was not to build religious schools; rather, it was the widespread broadcasting of obscene and vulgar Turkish serials from video media, during which women's polygamy, extramarital relationships, premarital relationships, infidelity in marital relationships, sexual relations with incest, etc. are promoted.
 
The Turkish series was aired and published in Afghanistan's video media to such an extent that it provoked many times the explicit protests of people of culture and media, scholars, experts on cultural issues and advocates of religious and social health in the country; But since the government at that time was a puppet and American, and on the other hand, Turkey was considered part of the occupying forces, no power could prevent the broadcasting of vulgar Turkish series.
 
Therefore, Turkey at that time was pursuing its "influence" in Afghanistan in terms of hardware by sending military forces in the form of NATO, and in terms of culture and propaganda by presenting vulgar and anti-value series to media affiliated with the West.
 
After the dominance of "Islamic Emirate", however, it seems that this tactic has changed. Now Turkey knows that vulgar foreign series have been banned in the country's domestic media and a military has come to power that says it implements "Sharia"; Therefore, Ankara should try other ways to maintain and expand its "influence", one of which is building religious schools.
 
These schools, however, are not the only buildings and welfare infrastructures for the students of religious sciences; Rather, it is a part of the influence project, the purpose of which is the continuation of Turkey's cultural invasion and political domination over our country; The same thing that was followed before the developments of more than a year in the form of NATO and Turkish series, etc.
 
Therefore, Turkey's basic policy of domination and "influence" in Afghanistan has not changed; only the means of its realization and implementation have changed.
 
In the past, however, the people of Afghanistan knew what Turkey wanted in the framework of NATO and also by presenting anti-religious series and how to deal with it. But building a religious school is not something that anyone is against; because it is thought to be a benevolent act to help a Muslim country.
 
But this is not the reality; Because Turkey's policy towards Afghanistan has not changed and the policy that yesterday's obscene series and today's religious schools help to realize it, is dangerous and challenging and must be curbed.
 
On the other hand, these religious schools are built while most Muslims do not accept Erdogan's and his government's reading of Islam. Islam, which is secular in Turkey, is propagated in Syria in the form of ISIS and Takfiriism, in Libya it is offered by extremist groups or criminal generals, in Azerbaijan it appears in the form of Pan-Turkism, and in Afghanistan, Yesterday he was presenting a vulgar series and today he is building a religious school.
 
This type of Islam is deviant, dangerous and unacceptable; because it only serves the dream of an authoritarian leader named Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who dreams of becoming the supreme power of the region and the Islamic world, and for this purpose, from Satan and God to terrorism and anti-terrorism, serials and schools are used as tools.
