Provincial governor’s office in Ghazni said that those who use Pakistani currency in trading would be fined and their business would be shut down.
Nangarhar governor’s office also said that use of foreign currency in trading would be banned in Jalalabad and districts in the province from tomorrow (Sunday).
“Traders, shopkeepers, residents and drivers and all sections are informed to exchange foreign currency to Afghani, because only Afghani will be valid from tomorrow,” it said in a notice, warning of legal action against violators.
