Anti-narcotics management officials of Balkh province say that a large shipment of alcoholic beverages embedded in a car with Uzbek license plate, which was driven by a citizen of this country, was discovered and seized by police forces, and an Uzbek person was also arrested.

Anti-narcotics police have destroyed 800 acres of poppy fields in several operations across six provinces.The Ministry of Interior Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) said.

The Ministry of Interior says that it has arrested 41 people from eight provinces of the country in connection with theft, murder, forgery of documents, gambling and use of alcoholic beverages.
