Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-e-Sharif: Abdulazim Fayez, the head of the People's Committee for the construction of Chashme Beed Bridge from Faiz Abad, the capital of Badakhshan province, says that the people have worked hard to build a bridge with a width of 4 meters and a length of 20 meters at their own expense, and this project is under The opinion of professional engineers and the public workforce has started.
He added: "This bridge will be built in the mouth area of Cheshme Beed village of Faiz Abad city with a cost of 4 million Afghanis, and more than 300 families in Momin Abad, Qalat Sheikh and Rabat villages will use this bridge to pass and go."
Fayez stated that the residents of these areas witness floods in six months of the year and cause huge losses to people's lives and finances, therefore, the construction of this bridge helps in reducing the risks of natural disasters for the people.
The mentioned stated that the people's efforts are high and that is why they started to build this bridge, but it is possible that due to the economic weakness, the construction and completion of it will take time, and we ask the officials and businessmen to operate and finish this bridge as soon as possible.
It is worth mentioning that the construction of this bridge will save the residents of Cheshme Bid, Qalat Sheikh, Rabat and Momin Abad villages from the possible dangers of floods.
