Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has published a newsletter saying that Moulavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the head of the ministry, had a meeting and discussion with a delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran headed by Askar Jalalian, Deputy Minister of Justice.
According to the news, in this meeting, bilateral relations, immigrants and prisoners in Iran, economic and commercial cooperation and regional political cooperation were discussed.
The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, in addition to appreciating hosting Afghan refugees for four decades, called for the Iranian government's interaction and cooperation with the country's immigrants in Iran.
He also stated that the Islamic Emirate is committed to cooperating with the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of extradition of Afghan prisoners.
Askar Jalalian stated that he was pleased with the recent developments and the stability of Afghanistan, and said that the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue its cooperation based on the agreements made in the near future.
The Deputy Minister of Justice of Iran said that his country has practically started the process of transferring Afghan prisoners from Iran and will cooperate with the Islamic Emirate.
It is worth mentioning that a delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran headed by the Deputy Ministry of Justice recently traveled to Kabul with the aim of transferring Afghan prisoners in Iran.
