The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Afghanistan increased by 46 percent during the first quarter of 2019, Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev said at a meeting with the Ambassador of Afghanistan to Azerbaijan Khairullah Spelenai, Azeri media reports referring to the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan.

China has pledged to help Afghanistan and Pakistan put into effect a memorandum of understanding signed by the three sides on security cooperation aimed at curbing militancy and ending longstanding suspicions between Kabul and Islamabad over security issues.
