Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, says that Islamabad wants Afghanistan to be a source of communication for trade and energy in the region, therefore it continues its contacts and negotiations with the authorities of the Islamic Emirate on issues related to borders and security.

Pakistan has reaffirmed its commitment to engage with Afghanistan on all aspects of cooperation and concern.
