Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): In an official statement to Bakhtar News Agency, the ministry detailed that the Department of Fuel Quality Control and Monitoring, responsible for ensuring compliance with national import standards, conducted inspections that identified fuel shipments failing to meet quality criteria. As a result, 60 tankers of low-quality fuel were turned back from the customs facilities in Farah, Herat, and Nimroz provinces.
This follows a similar operation the previous week, when the ministry reported the rejection of 128 tankers carrying substandard fuel. The Ministry of Finance emphasized its commitment to maintaining strict quality standards to protect the national market and consumers.
