Afghan Voice Agency (AWA): Al-Jazeera correspondent in Gaza reported: "The Israeli regime's artillery shelled the northwest of the Nuseirat camp in the center of the Gaza Strip."
The report, while referring to the Israeli airstrike on the northeast of the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, states: "The occupants blew up residential buildings in the Al-Junina neighborhood in the east of Rafah."
On the other hand, the Yedioth Aharonot newspaper also wrote, citing informed sources: "The Israeli army has completed most of the work to establish a buffer zone in the Gaza Strip."
These sources, who were not named, said: "The buffer zone inside the Gaza Strip is between 1 and 2 kilometers deep and is close to the border with Israel. "Israeli army forces will shoot anyone who enters the buffer zone."
