The AVA reporter continued, “In addition to the change of the head of the Iranian embassy in Kabul, the country’s consul general in Herat has also changed, and there is a possibility of changes to other Iranian consul generals in Kandahar, Nangarhar, and Mazar-e-Sharif. Do these changes have a new message for Afghanistan?”
Baghaei responded, “Changes in political and diplomatic missions of any country are a normal and common process, and usually our ambassadors and consul generals change after completing their missions.”
