Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): British Foreign Secretary David Lammy announced that he will continue to talk to Netanyahu after the International Criminal Court (The Hague) issued an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for war crimes in the Gaza Strip.
Speaking to the UK parliament's foreign affairs select committee, he went on to claim that if Netanyahu enters the UK, he will abide by the Hague court's arrest warrant for Netanyahu, stressing that there is no way to ignore or circumvent the warrant.
The British Foreign Secretary, however, added that he will continue to talk to Netanyahu and senior Israeli cabinet officials about issues such as the ceasefire in Gaza and the importance of sending humanitarian aid to the Palestinians.
The International Criminal Court on Thursday issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Minister of War Yoav Gallant, citing war crimes committed by the two Israeli officials in Gaza.
Following the ruling, although the Zionist regime has sought to reject it, attack the legitimacy of the ICC, and intensify lobbying efforts, many countries, including European and American countries, have announced their readiness to implement the ruling. The European Union's foreign policy chief, Joseph Borrell, also did not consider the court's order political, adding: "We must respect the court's decision and implement it."
