Hamas: The international community must take immediate action against Israeli crimes in northern Gaza

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): While nearly two months have passed since the occupation regime's brutal attacks and cruel siege on the northern Gaza Strip, last night (Wednesday) the Palestinian Hamas movement issued a statement calling on the international community to take immediate action against the military siege of the northern Gaza Strip, specifically the Jabalia and Beit Lahia regions, by the Zionist regime, and the hunger war that this regime has waged in these areas.

Hamas stressed in its statement: “The Zionist terrorist and criminal army continues its criminal military operations in the northern Gaza Strip for the 55th consecutive day, committing the most heinous and horrific terrorist crimes against our children in the Gaza Strip in general, and the north of this region in particular.”

The Palestinian movement stressed: “The occupying regime’s army is committing the most heinous crimes and is massacring civilians in areas it claims are safe. The Zionists have kidnapped dozens of people in northern Gaza and are directly targeting all hospitals in the region and medical staff, along with civil defense teams, which has led to the complete closure of the work of the civil defense teams.”

The Hamas statement continued: “The Zionist enemy continues its brutal military operations in Jabalia and Beit Lahia, placing these areas under a severe siege and massacring anyone who leaves them.” The Zionist enemy is intensifying the killing and siege of the city of Beit Lahia, which is being subjected to brutal bombardments and attacks on this area do not stop for a moment, and the enemy wants to displace all of our people from there.

Hamas emphasized that, given the brutal military operations that continue in Jabalia and Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, we consider the US government to be the main partner and supporter of the occupying regime and fully and directly responsible for the crimes of this regime.

The movement further called on the international community and all the free people of the world to take immediate and serious action to save the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip from the genocidal war and hunger of the fascist Zionist regime.

While the Zionist regime, through systematic attacks on hospitals and health centers throughout the Gaza Strip, including the north of the region, has been specifically targeting Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia in recent weeks, in order to destroy the last hope of the residents of northern Gaza. Marwan al-Hummus, the director of field hospitals in the Gaza Strip, announced that the occupying regime is deliberately continuing to target Kamal Adwan Hospital in order to completely remove this hospital from the service circuit. He stated: The occupying regime wants to completely destroy the health system in northern Gaza, and for this reason, it is deliberately seeking to disable Kamal Adwan Hospital, because it knows that this hospital is one of the most important factors in the stability of the people of northern Gaza and one of the important reasons for the failure of the Israeli conspiracy to implement the plan to displace the people here.
