Iran supports solutions leading to peace and tranquility in Afghanistan
Masoud Pezeshkian, the president of Iran, who is in Kazan, Russia to participate in the 16th summit of the BRICS group, during his meeting with Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, has emphasized that "we must interact and talk with Afghanistan with the motivation and will to build the future of the region."

According to IRNA, the situation in Afghanistan was also discussed in this meeting and Pazeshkian said: "We must interact and talk with Afghanistan with the motivation and will to build the future of the region. We must help the Afghan people to achieve peace, tranquility and prosperity by solving their problems. The Islamic Republic of Iran supports any measure that helps stabilize peace and tranquility in Afghanistan."
The office of the Prime Minister of India has also said in its announcement about the meeting between Modi and the doctors that both sides have pointed out that the signing of the long-term contract on Chabahar port is an important milestone in bilateral relations, emphasizing its importance for the reconstruction and redevelopment of Afghanistan and the strengthening of trade relations and Economic relations with Central Asia were also emphasized.
In this meeting, the doctors expressed hope to speed up the agreement on the development of Chabahar port.
