BRICS agreement with Bolivia as a "partner country"
The president of Bolivia announced that BRICS members agreed to consider Bolivia as "a partner country".

He added: BRICS "every day helps to strengthen the new multipolar world order based on friendship, equality, cooperation and mutual benefit and respect for people's sovereignty and autonomy".
 
Earlier, Yuri Ushakov, assistant to the President of Russia, announced that 13 countries are in consultation to obtain the "partner status of BRICS".
 
Russian President Vladimir Putin said earlier that more than 30 countries have expressed their desire to join the BRICS activities in different ways.
 
According to this report, Bolivia announced its desire to join BRICS last June.

Expressing Indonesia's desire to join BRICS
In order to play a role in the expansion of developing countries, Indonesia announced its desire to become a member of BRICS and considered this action as a symbol of Jakarta's independent foreign policy.

Indonesia, which is the fourth most populous country in the world, follows a non-aligned foreign policy. The new president of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, who came to power last Sunday, has repeatedly emphasized that his country will establish friendship with all countries, including China and the United States, and will not join any military bloc.
 
He added that BRICS is compatible with the main programs of the Prabowo government, especially in the field of food and energy security, poverty eradication and human resource development. Also, Indonesia sees this group as a means to advance the interests of the global south.
 
BRICS group or emerging economic powers was established in Yekaterinburg, Russia in 2009 with the participation of Brazil, Russia, India and China; The following year, South Africa joined this group.
 
The 16th BRICS summit, the first meeting of the leaders of this group was held on Wednesday, the fourth of Scorpio 1403 in Kazan, Russia.
 
As the rotating chairman of the BRICS group in 2024, Russia has planned about 250 events in this framework.
