Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: According to today's information, this shipment was discovered and seized from a car at around three o'clock in the afternoon yesterday (Wednesday, Oct 9) from the zero point of the border with Iran in Chahar Burjak district of Nimroz.
Sources say that this shipment included one rocket, eight Kalashnikov rifles, three night vision cameras, seven rocket shells, six grenade launchers, 25 Shajoors and 38 mine sweepers.
According to sources, this shipment also included 800 kilograms of glass-type drugs, 44 kilograms of hashish, 51 kilograms of opium, and 13 kilograms of hashish.
In Nimroz, the Security Command of the Islamic Emirate only confirmed the prevention of the smuggling of 900 kilograms of drugs, but did not mention the smuggling of weapons.
This command has said that this drug shipment includes 20 kilograms of opium, 31 kilograms of hashish, 48 kilograms of heroin and 800 kilograms of glass, which were discovered in the "Talib Khan" area of Chahar Borjak district.
The Security Command of the Islamic Emirate has said that four people have been arrested in connection with the transfer of this amount of drugs and their cases have been sent to judicial institutions.
After regaining control of Afghanistan, the Islamic Emirate has banned the cultivation, smuggling, use and production of drugs.
