England: Lebanon should not become another Gaza/we want a ceasefire

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: In an interview with "Sky News" channel, David Lammy stated that "a political solution must be found for Lebanon" in response to the attacks of the Zionist regime on Lebanese soil. We don't want this country to turn into another Gaza and we want a ceasefire."

"We are working with Washington to calm the region," the British foreign minister claimed. Progress in the region is related to the cessation of war, the two-state solution and the achievement of peace.

"Al-Jazeera" network reported this morning (Thursday) that the towns of "Arzoun", "Kafarhuna", "Malikh", "Al-Naqurah", "Al-Lubuna", "Al-Dahira", "Ulama al-Shaab", "Adlun" in the south and the city " Baalbek" and the heights of "Janta" in eastern Lebanon were targeted by the invaders.

The Prime Minister of the Zionist regime recently warned the people of Lebanon in a message that he will turn Lebanon into Gaza.

UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) spokesman James Elder also said that "if we look at the violence of the initial attacks (by Israel on Lebanon), at the language used, at the widespread displacement, unfortunately the common points (with Gaza) are quite visible."
