Deputy Prime Minister Maulavi Kabir supports the cooperation between Afghanistan and Qatar in various sectors
The political deputy of the prime minister, in a meeting with the advisor of the Qatar embassy in Kabul, emphasized the bilateral cooperation with Doha in the economic, political, educational, and industrial and investment sectors.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Monitoring: According to a statement from ARG, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, Deputy PM for Political Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met with Mardif Al-Qashouti, the Advisor for Qatari Embassy in Kabul.
During the meeting, Mardif Al-Qashouti reiterated Qatar’s commitment to continuing humanitarian aid to the Afghan people and expressed Qatar’s desire to expand cooperation with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in various fields. He also mentioned plans to conduct short-term training programs for Afghan youth to enhance their skills in the banking sector based on bilateral relations.
Al-Qashouti further highlighted the importance of Afghanistan-Qatar relations and stated efforts to establish direct flights between Kabul and Doha.
Meanwhile, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir praised the strengthening ties between Qatar and the Islamic Emirate. He emphasized the importance of the upcoming Doha meeting, supported by Qatari officials, and highlighted Qatar’s significant role in the Islamic Emirate’s foreign policy.
He also noted that Afghanistan’s relations with the global community are expanding and urged the Islamic world to provide opportunities for higher education to Afghan youth in their respective countries.
Additionally, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed gratitude for Qatar’s stance and policy regarding the Palestinian issue, reaffirming the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s support for an independent Palestinian state, emphasizing the responsibility of the Islamic world in this regard.
