The emphasis of the Minister of Mines is to prevent smuggling in the mining sector

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Monitoring: According to the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, Mullah Hidayatullah Badri, the Acting Minister, met with the directors of mines from the northern and northeastern provinces.

In the meeting, the directors outlined their achievements, shared their challenges, and offered suggestions for improving their respective departments.

Accordingly, the Acting Minister praised their efforts in service delivery and stressed the need for greater transparency in preventing smuggling and illegal mining, safeguarding revenues, and ensuring proper oversight and implementation of contracts. He also provided necessary guidance and instructions to address their challenges.
