Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Following the response of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) to the proposal of the mediators for a ceasefire, a special source announced that in this response, Hamas stated its main positions and conditions in establishing a permanent ceasefire. It emphasizes the complete withdrawal of the occupying forces from the Gaza Strip and the return of the refugees to their homes.
A specially informed source revealed in a conversation with Al-Mayadeen on Thursday that the Hamas movement applied its reforms to the latest proposal for a ceasefire in a way that did not affect the main issues. Hamas has maintained the main conditions regarding the establishment of a permanent ceasefire, the complete withdrawal of Zionist forces from the Gaza Strip and the return of refugees to their homes.
According to this source, the Hamas movement has also emphasized the need for the occupiers to withdraw from the Philadelphia axis (Salah al-Din) located along the border between the Gaza Strip and Egypt, as well as the Rafah crossing.
The mentioned source clarified: Hamas also emphasizes its position in rejecting any veto by the Zionist regime on the release of Palestinian prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment.
This source said that the Hamas movement, in dealing with the proposed ceasefire plan, has shown a lot of flexibility in clauses 8 and 14 so that negotiations can continue to reach a permanent and sustainable ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
The Hamas movement announced in a statement last night that it has discussed thoughts and ideas with mediators to reach an agreement to stop the war against the Palestinian nation.
According to Tasnim, Hamas also emphasized that Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political office of this movement, talked with the political officials of Qatar and Egypt as mediators of the ceasefire negotiations, and also had a phone call with the political officials of Turkey. Hamas is advancing the negotiations with high motivation and spirit.
On the other hand, the office of the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime announced that Qatar and Egypt handed over Hamas' response to the prisoner exchange and ceasefire plan to this regime, and that this regime is going to review it and send its response to the intermediary parties.
Netanyahu's office announced that Mossad has received Hamas's response to the proposal for a cease-fire and prisoner exchange from intermediaries.
Channel 12 of the Zionist regime, quoting some sources, announced that Benjamin Netanyahu will hold a meeting tomorrow, Thursday, to review Hamas' response.
This network, quoting a number of Israeli officials, emphasized that for the first time, Hamas's response to the proposed plan could advance the negotiations.
An Israeli official also emphasized in a conversation with the Hebrew language news site Vala that the response of Hamas makes it possible to advance negotiations on controversial issues and can be the basis for an agreement on paragraphs 8 and 14, which are the main differences between the parties.
