The government and private sector trade delegation of the country, led by Nooruddin Azizi, Acting Minister of Industry and Trade, went to Tashkent, Uzbekistan to participate in the exhibition of domestic products of Afghanistan. One of the goals of this trip is to export domestic products.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Acting Minister of Industry and Trade and the head of the Afghanistan Government and Private Sector Trade Board said in the program of this trip, which was held today, Tuesday, July 2, at Kabul Airport: since six months ago, on the exhibition and communication program Business has been in contact with the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Azizi announced the participation of 250 private companies in this trip and added that a number of cabinet representatives are also present in this trip.

The Acting Minister of Industry and Trade, pointing out that he is trying to increase the country's trade relations with the Republic of Uzbekistan, expressed hope that this trip will bring good results to the country.

Also, he stated that one of the goals of participating in this four-day exhibition in Tashkent city and the business communication meeting in the Republic of Uzbekistan is the exportation of Afghanistan's domestic products.

Continuing his speech, Mr. Azizi considered the programs of the Islamic Emirate successful due to its economy-oriented approach and added that this rule has caused the world to focus more on economic relations with Afghanistan.

Pointing to the obvious role of the private sector in this trip, he said: large and powerful domestic companies as well as large Turkish and United Arab Emirates companies will also participate in our meetings in this trip.

It should be mentioned that the Acting Minister of Industry and Trade announced the holding of business meetings and exhibitions in the near future in Russia.

Nuruddin Azizi mentioned the marketing of the country's coal during the past year, and said that in this case, an agreement has been reached with Uzbekistan on the export of one million tons of coal, and work is underway on the structure of its transfer.

On the other hand, Mohammad Yunus Mohmand, the country's head of trade and investment, appreciated the caretaker government's support for the private sector and said: This trip is very important because during it, memorandums and cooperation agreements will be signed in different sectors.
