European Union: The Hague Court's ruling to stop Israeli attacks on Rafah is mandatory

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Josep Borrell, the head of the European Union's foreign policy, in his latest reaction to the developments and crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza, emphasized that the war in Gaza is the biggest moral issue at the moment.

He also said about the International Court of Justice (ICJ) decision to stop Israeli military operations in Rafah that the judgments of the Hague Court are binding.

On the 24th of this month, the Hague Court, in a ruling issued based on South Africa's complaint against the Zionist regime, asked Israel to immediately stop its military operations in Rafah and open the border crossings for the transfer of humanitarian aid.

Meanwhile, since the announcement of this ruling, the Zionist regime has intensified its attacks in Rafah and massacred hundreds of Palestinians during two separate attacks on the refugee camp. An issue that has angered the international community even more.

The European Union foreign policy official also criticized the decisions of the UN Security Council and said that the UN system was paralyzed by the veto power, which caused the conflicts to continue.

Burrell stated, what is happening in the Middle East has put us to the test of the world order based on international laws and institutions.

Burrell refers to the veto of the resolutions proposed in the Security Council for a ceasefire in Gaza by the United States of America.

The United States has so far vetoed four resolutions to stop the war in Gaza, causing the Security Council to remain inactive on the escalation of the conflict in Gaza.
