Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of Al-Warza Directorate said in a news release that Maulavi Abdul Kabir, the political deputy of the Islamic Emirate's Prime Minister's Department, met with Maulavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, who has just returned from a trip to Iran, in Sepidar Palace.
At the beginning of this meeting, Maulavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, informed the political deputy of the Prime Minister's Department about his visit to Iran and called this trip full of achievements.
Amir Khan Muttaqi added that during his trip to the Islamic Republic of Iran, he met with a number of officials of that country, as well as with diplomats and Afghans living in Tehran and Mashhad.
The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs called Iran a friendly country of Afghanistan and said that he had spoken with Iranian officials regarding the political, economic and trade development between the two countries.
On the other hand, Maulavi Abdul Kabir, Political Deputy of the Prime Minister, while thanking the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, said that the Islamic Emirate has good relations with all the countries of the region, especially Iran, and wants to expand and strengthen these relations in the future.
