The International Organization for Migration demanded an immediate stop to the expulsion of Afghan refugees from the host countries
The International Organization for Migration has published a new report, pointing out that since the Pakistani government set a deadline for deporting Afghan refugees from the country, the number of returnees at the border crossings has increased dramatically from two hundred to 17,000 people daily, and has requested the host countries. to stop the forced deportation of Afghan refugees immediately.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: In its latest report, the International Organization for Migration has asked the host countries to immediately stop the forced deportation of Afghan immigrants.

According to the latest statistics of the International Organization for Migration, nearly 375,000 Afghans have been returned to Afghanistan from Pakistan in the past two months, mainly through Torkham and Spin Boldak border crossings.

The report of this organization states, "Since Pakistan's "Illegal Aliens Repatriation Plan" set a deadline for the "voluntary return" of all Afghans without residence documents from that country to Afghanistan, the number of returnees at the border crossings has dramatically increased from two hundred per day. The number has increased to 17 thousand people.

The International Organization for Migration has said that it and humanitarian partners are providing a range of critical assistance at border crossings between Pakistan and Afghanistan in response to the hundreds of thousands of Afghans who have been forcibly returned.

According to this organization; Returnees are provided with critical assistance including shelter, water, sanitation, household essentials, health care, protective services and nutrition, as well as cash for basic needs, transportation and food by border relief teams led by the organization.

However, this organization has said that "the people who come to Afghanistan are very vulnerable and need immediate support at the borders as well as in the long term in the return areas. "This is a significant humanitarian crisis and urgent funding is needed to continue providing emergency assistance once people have reached their areas and returned with dignity."

Therefore, this organization has reiterated its request to all countries and said that they should immediately stop the forced return of Afghan nationals who have migrated for a long time.

Maria Moita, head of the International Organization for Migration in Afghanistan, said, "Their situation is hopeless. "Most people told us that they had to leave Pakistan, leaving behind their assets and savings."
