Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The press office of the Ministry of Higher Education has published a newsletter saying that Sheikh Nida Mohammad Nadim, the head of the ministry, visited Baghlan, along with the opening of projects at Baghlan University, met professors and students.
In this meeting, the Acting Minister of Higher Education announced the creation of master's and doctorate fields in the country, the recruitment of graduated students to government institutions, and the creation of research farms and equipping laboratories in the country's educational institutions.
He said: "Fortunately, the education system of Afghanistan has been reformed and students are taught Islamic sciences and culture in addition to modern sciences."
He further added that "no foreign order in the field of education is acceptable to us".
In this meeting, Maulavi Abdul Rahman Haqqani, the governor of Baghlan, spoke about the value of science and education and added: "The youth who graduate should learn Islamic culture and patriotism in addition to learning contemporary sciences."
Prof. Aminullah Fitrat, as a representative of the professors of Baghlan University, called science the cause of human civilization and asked the Acting Ministry of Higher Education to create a town for professors and provide a field for improving the capacity and scientific progress of professors.
