Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Mufti Abdul Matin Qane, the spokesman of the Ministry of Interior, has written in a series of tweets that the General Command of Special Forces, based on the information it had, conducted an operation in Pashte Badam area of Paghman district of Kabul on Saturday (August 19). The kidnappers who kidnapped a citizen named Mohammad Amin three days ago, as a result of this operation, four kidnappers were killed.
He added that an operation by Special Forces started at 9:45 p.m. on Saturday night to save this compatriot, and in this operation, an armed conflict took place between the kidnappers and the Mujahedeen, as a result of which four kidnappers were killed by the security forces.
Mr. Qane added that no financial or life damage was caused to the Mujahedeen in the mentioned operation and the kidnapped citizen (Mohammed Amin) was rescued by the Mujahedeen.
This is despite the fact that before the Islamic Emirate came to power, kidnapping had become a business between mafia groups.
