For this reason, the United States and European countries, especially after the Ukraine crisis, pursued extensive efforts to separate China from Russia, which did not yield results.
 
In the meantime, what seems to have caused the West's displeasure with China is Beijing's side with Russia in the Ukraine crisis, which has confused America and European countries in this regard, and their accusations against China of helping Russia in the Ukraine war so far. It has not been fruitful.
 
According to Li Zhanshu, the former chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, in a meeting last year with the heads of factions of the Russian State Duma, China fully understands and supports all of Moscow's actions in Ukraine to protect its interests.
