Deadly explosion at Russian explosives factory
An explosion at an explosives factory in central Russia killed at least six people and injured two others, Russian emergency services sources reported.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to the report of the Russian network "Russia today", the Russian emergency services reported yesterday (Friday, July 7) that an explosion occurred in the city of "Chapaivsk" in the "Samara" region and at the "Promsyntz" factory.
 
A representative of the emergency service told the Russian news agency "Tass" that the explosion occurred when local workers were dismantling a technical pipeline, although there was no fire following the incident.
 
Promsyntz factory is one of the main producers of industrial explosives in Russia, whose products are used in mining and oil exploration. About 1,300 workers are employed in this factory.
 
In another incident that happened at the end of June this year, an explosion occurred in a gunpowder factory in the central region of Russia, Tambov, as a result of which at least four people died and 12 others were injured.
 
Two years ago, at least 17 people died in an explosion at a gunpowder factory in the Ryazan region of Russia, and after this explosion, a fire broke out and the factory was completely destroyed.
