Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) Monitoring : The United Nations has announced that the purpose of this meeting is to re-strengthen international engagement around common goals for a sustainable solution to the situation in Afghanistan.
It has been nearly twenty months that the Islamic Emirate has been asking the United Nations to hand over Afghanistan's seat in this organization to the representative of the Islamic Emirate, but so far the United Nations has not accepted this request of the Islamic Emirate.
The authorities of the Islamic Emirate, however, consider this action of the United Nations to be unfair and clear oppression against the people of Afghanistan, and they emphasize that the irresponsible actions of the United Nations question the status of this organization.
Bilal Karimi, deputy spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, says: "No doubt, this is an injustice to the people of Afghanistan. A great nation in this region should have its place in the United Nations and all cases and issues that are discussed about Afghanistan should be represented by the real representative of the people of Afghanistan, which is currently the Islamic Emirate. "Continuation of this injustice is against all international norms."
The Islamic Emirate continues to ask this organization to refrain from unwarranted pressure on Afghanistan and to solve the problems through dialogue with the Islamic Emirate.
Mr. Karimi says: "If these options are used due to illegal, illegitimate and unprincipled pressures, this will not give results and it is still an issue that will harm the trust and credibility of the other party or the international community./Ariana News
