Pope Francis was released from the hospital

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Pope Francis, the leader of the world Catholics, left the hospital on Saturday to return to the Vatican after being treated for bronchitis.

 

Pope Francis told reporters outside the hospital on Saturday (April 1st) that he is not afraid of the disease and is still alive.

 

Three days ago, he was transferred to a hospital in Rome, Italy, after complaining of breathing problems.

 

The 86-year-old Pope Francis, who celebrated the 10th anniversary of the leadership of the world Catholics in March, has suffered from several illnesses in recent years.

 

His health issue has been receiving more attention since two years ago and after colon surgery.

 

Pope Francis replaced Pope Benedict XVI, who abruptly resigned ten years ago. Benedict XVI was the first head of the Catholic Church in 600 years to step down. He died on the last day of 2022 at the age of 95.
